How does dental implant treatment work?
Each stage is planned in advance according to your individual clinical situation — from diagnostics to the placement of the final crown.

Consultation and diagnostics
The implant surgeon performs an examination and 3D tomography, evaluates the condition of the bone and prepares an individual treatment plan.

Digital planning
The implant position is planned using CT data. Based on this plan, an individual surgical guide is produced for the procedure.

Implant placement
Under local anaesthesia or sedation, the dentist places the Straumann implant in the planned position using the individual surgical guide.

Healing and gum shaping
The implant is given time to integrate with the bone. The healing abutment may be placed immediately or after the healing period, depending on the case.

Crown placement
After healing, digital or conventional impressions are taken. An individual crown is then made and securely attached to the implant.
Treatment time is individual.
